Service Technician (Medium Voltage Installations) Belgium

This is what you will be doing

As a Service Technician, you will be working on our low- and medium-voltage installations at various locations in Belgium and the Netherlands. You will ensure correct installation, maintenance, and service, so that our customers can always count on reliable and safe solutions.

A selection of your tasks:

• Installing, assembling, and maintaining low- and medium-voltage switchgear and cable terminations in accordance with the AREI.
• Supervising and collaborating with fellow technicians, contractors, and customers.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and material lists.
• Analyzing and resolving technical problems (in consultation with third parties where necessary).
• Performing measurements and tests and completing reports based on these;
• Checking the availability of materials, parts, documents, and tools;
• Complying with and monitoring safety regulations in the workplace, so that you and your colleagues always return home safely after a successful day's work;

What do we ask of you?

You enjoy working independently, take responsibility, and remain calm in the event of malfunctions or challenges. In addition, you attach great importance to safety and collegiality—you take care of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer.

• You have a technical degree, preferably a bachelor's degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering or equivalent through experience (3-5 years of relevant work experience).
• Strong communication skills, solution-oriented, hands-on mentality.
• You are flexible and willing to work in a varied work regime and work area.
• Traveling to the Netherlands (for training and work experience) is not a problem for you.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• You have a driver's license B.
